In 1985, we walked into Sweet Silent Studios in Copenhagen.
The songs we created in those sessions, became our third album "Master of Puppets".
Over the past 20 years, this album has become an important moment to us, and all our loyal fans.
For those of you who have been with us along our journey
and for those of you who are new members to the Metallica family,
we want to celebrate this 20 year anniversary with you.

Additions to the European Summer Vacation Schedule

Our 2012 European summer vacation continues with stops in Germany and Austria for festivals that we've come to know and love over the years. On June 1 we'll be at Rock Im Park in Nurnberg, Germany with the next day, June 2, taking us to Rock Am Ring in Nurburgring, Germany for an amazing fifth time at these two classic festivals.
