Jonathan im Krankenhaus
Laut der offiziellen Seite des Download Festivals, wo Korn dieses Wochenende spielen sollen, liegt Korn's Frontman Jonathan David im Krankenhaus. Genauere Hintergründe sind noch nicht bekannt.
Laut den Veranstaltern vom Download Festival wird das Konzert von Korn aber nicht abgesagt. Ein anderer Sänger wird für Jonathan einspringen.
"It has just been confirmed that Korn singer Jonathan Davis is unwell in hospital. Korn will be playing a very special set with special guest vocalists taking his place. Once again, rock history is about to be made at Download!"

Wie ja bekannt war, ging es Jonathan auf Grund einer Grippe schon beim Rock am Ring Festival nicht gut. Ob dies auch mit dem aktuellen Aufenthalt im Krankenhaus zusammenhängt, steht noch nicht fest. Ebenso ist noch nicht bekannt, wer für Jonathan einspringen wird. Sobald es Neuigkeiten gibt, erfahrt ihr es hier!

Laut Kornunleashed.net soll Corey Taylor von Slipknot definitiv "Freak on a Leash" und "Clown" übernehmen.

Das Ende der See You On The Other Side World Tour?
Korn haben das für Morgen geplante Konzert in Dublin abgesagt. Grund dafür ist der Krankenhausaufenthalt von Sänger Jonathan Davis. Das Einspringen von Corey Taylor beim heutigen Konzert in Donnington (Download Festival) war, damit konnte man ja rechnen, also nur einmalige Sache.
Werden noch weiter Konzerte abgesagt? Ist dies das Ende der See You On The Other Side World Tour? Immerhin stehen noch fünfzehn Konzerte in Europa an, zwei davon in Deutschland. Sobald es weitere Informationen gibt, erfahrt ihr es hier!

Nachdem gestern offiziell bestätigt wurde, dass Corey Taylor das komplette Set über gesungen haben soll, kann ich euch nun mit Hilfe der Setlist zeigen, dass es nicht so war. Corey Taylor war nur einer von vielen Sängern die eingesprungen sind. Die Setlist hatte acht Songs und eine Länge von rund 30 Minuten.

I am writing this to thank everyone who called, or e-mailed me the past few days, believe me, they have been some of the scariest days of my life.
This is the short version of what happened. I started getting these wierd bruises all over my body about two weeks ago. I was getting very weak after the shows so I saw a doctor in London on Friday. He took some blood tests and when the results came in they rushed me to the hospital.
It turned out I have ITP. It's too hard to spell, but bascially it's a blood infection where because of an allergic reaction, I had some mediacation, my blood platelets, the stuff my bone marrow produces to help my blood clot, were really low. I mean, way low. Most humans have between 140 and 400 in their cells. I had 5... no joke... FIVE. If I continued to headbang on stage I could have had a brain hemorrhage and dropped dead on the spot.
My doctors ordered me to remain at the hospital until they could get my blood in some healthy shape.
I want to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at The London Clinic, all the singers who performed with the band at the Donington festival: Corey from Slipknot/Stone Sour, Dez from DevilDriver, Jesse from 10 Years, Benji from Skindred, Shadows from Advenged Sevenfold, and Matt from Trivim. I want to thank my band and crew for all their love and support, my loving family and friends and most of all the fans, the best fans in the world.
The doctors are telling me that each day I've been here in hospital my platelet count has been going up and I should be healthly to play in a few weeks. The doctors have cleared me to walk around a bit but I am unable to perform a show or travel right now. They will know more in a day or two but I want everyone to know that we will do our very best to come back soon to play dates we are unable to play this tour.

Komplette Tour abgesagt
Laut Pollstar.com wurde nun auch das Konzert am 21. Juni in Berlin abgesagt.
Außerdem wurden auch die Konzerte in Finnland (18.06.), Frankreich (25.06.), Belgien (24.06.) und Österreich (28.06.) gecancelt. Auch das St. Gallen Open Air am 01.07. in der Schweiz soll ohne Korn stattfinden. Wie es beim With Full Force-Festival aussieht, ist bisher nicht klar. Jedoch planan sie nach Europa zurückzukehren, wenn es ihr Terminkalender zulässt.
An der Family Values Tour, die am 27. Juli beginnt, sollen Korn aber wie geplant teilnehmen.

Jonathan aus Krankenhaus entlassen
Laut Bakersfield.com wurde Jonathan aus dem Londoner Krankenhaus entlassen und befindet sich zur Zeit in einem Hotel.
Wenn alles wie geplant verläuft, wird Jonathan in den nächsten 24 bis 48 Stunden zurück nach Hause fliegen, jedoch bleibt er noch unter medizinischer Aufsicht und wird wahrscheinlich direkt wieder in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert, so Jonathan's Vater Rick Davis.
